Apprentice electrical engineer Joe Martin was awarded the Apprentice of the Year accolade at Cygnet Group’s Christmas celebrations this month.
Joe is two years into an apprenticeship that has already seen him take a leading role in two overseas installations in France and China.
“Joe was chosen for this award in recognition of his excellent technical performance, problem-solving ability and commitment to colleagues and customers,” says Ryan Dunlop, electrical team leader.
“He is going to be an exceptional electrician and I would be happy to send him anywhere in the world to represent our team.”
Joe expects to complete his apprenticeship in Spring 2016.
