Cygnet Texkimp wins national Manufacturing Innovation Award at Insider Made in the UK Awards 2025
Advanced materials technology specialist Cygnet Texkimp has won the Manufacturing Innovation Award at the Insider Made in the UK Awards held in Liverpool on 19th June 2025.
The national award ceremony followed a year of regional events to highlight the achievements of manufacturers across the UK. Cygnet Texkimp was previously crowned winner in the innovation category at the Made in the North West Awards in May before being judged alongside fellow regional winners in the national finals.
The company was recognised for its collaborative work with businesses, universities and research organisations around the world to accelerate learning in composite and advanced materials, enable future capability, and improve sustainability, efficiency and performance in global industries including aerospace and automotive.

The Judges highlighted the company’s role in the £40m collaboration led by Tier-1 GKN Aerospace to develop composite-intensive components at rate.
