JEC World 2025: Cygnet Texkimp presents fibre processing solutions to support decarbonisation in world markets
Composites technology specialist Cygnet Texkimp [Cheshire, UK] will highlight how its fibre handling and processing solutions are enabling lightweighting, decarbonisation and sustainability in advanced materials, transportation, aerospace, space, automotive and defence at JEC World 2025, Hall 5 Stand L85.

DEECOM® pressolysis fibre recycling solution
The fibre handling expert and custom machine builder will showcase technologies from across its portfolio, including its ground-breaking, high-tension carbon fibre overwrapping solution for the manufacture of high-performance electric motors and hydrogen fuel cell powertrains. It will spotlight the DEECOM® fibre recycling solution which reduces waste and enables circularity in composite materials and parts by reclaiming high-value recycled carbon fibres.

Multi roll stack prepreg and towpreg line
Also featuring is the versatile, energy- and space-saving Multi Roll Stack prepreg and towpreg machine which is designed to produce industrial and aerospace grade prepregs in high volumes and offers quick-step, fast-paced development of prepreg materials cost-effectively and in-house.

Cygnet Texkimp Flatline Creel
Cygnet Texkimp will also use the show to highlight its extensive expertise in handling delicate and high-value composite fibres to ensure precise and consistent material delivery into downstream processes. The company will present its comprehensive portfolio of advanced creels, each of which is designed to optimise tension control and uniformity for technical yarns such as carbon fibre, aramid, and other high-performance materials. From the industry-leading Flatline Creel to a range of specialised solutions, Cygnet Texkimp will show how its creels are designed to support critical composite manufacturing processes including UD prepreg, weaving, and other demanding applications in aerospace, space, automotive, and defence.
Meanwhile, Cygnet Texkimp CEO Luke Vardy will take part in a panel discussion Composites for Hydrogen Transportation & Distribution on Tuesday 4th March 2025, from 14.00 to 14.55, in the Agora 6 (Hall 6 Q114):
“Decarbonisation is a major priority for manufacturers globally,” says Luke Vardy. “At Cygnet Texkimp, we’re developing the capability to process technical fibres in ways that enable lightweighting, hydrogen power and electrification, reduce waste and revolutionise end-of-life management of composite materials and parts. In collaboration with our industry partners, we’re bringing to market some of the most innovative new fibre processing technologies ever developed to deliver real-world benefits that support the sustainability agenda.”
