Fibre technology specialist Cygnet Texkimp will feature a range of automated fibre handling solutions and creel systems alongside its fibre recycling technology at ITMA + CITME 2025 in Singapore.

The company will highlight how its technologies are adding value to the traditional and technical textiles industries by maximising fibre quality and factory efficiency and delivering sustainable end-of-life solutions for material manufacturers.

It will showcase its process monitoring and automation solutions, including its compact robot AGV and high-precision trailer-loading AGV systems which allow manufacturers to load and unload large packages of fibre safely and efficiently to reduce manual handling, improve processing speeds and enable product traceability.

The company will highlight its range of bespoke fibre unwinding and tensioning creels, including mechanical tyre cord creels for the global tyre industry, high-capacity weaving creels, and its low-pressure, pneumatic Flatline creel for the unwinding of high-end carbon fibres used in the manufacture of prepregs and other composite materials.

Finally, Cygnet Texkimp will present its fibre recycling solution, DEECOM, which has been developed to address the environmental impact of waste in the global textile industry. It offers a sustainable end-of-life solution for materials manufacturers and a way to achieve circularity in textiles.

The technology uses superheated steam to recover fibres in continuous, high value formats that can be reused as recycled fibres in new materials. It is being used to recycle textile fabrics and composite fibres including carbon fibre and aramid fibre.

“Our mission as a technology partner to the international textile industries is to follow the fibre from package to finished part, identifying where we can add value and applying our fibre handling and machine engineering expertise to get the best from the fibre at every stage,” says Cygnet Texkimp’s Warren Battle, International Sales Manager for Asia.
