As a provider of bespoke processing solutions for fibre, fabrics, tapes and wires, we maintain our ability to be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of our customers. Our flexibility is an asset that allows our customers to benefit from and develop new methods and emerging technologies.

We closely work with the research and development teams at customer companies as well as universities and professional bodies to achieve common goals (e.g. The University of Manchester and the North West Composites Sector).

The tenet underlying virtually all of our research and development partnerships is that our client’s processes remain their unique intellectual property. The innovations developed through the research and development benefit both parties, becoming part of Cygnet Texkimp’s machine design intellectual property and enhancing the client’s process through Cygnet Texkimp equipment. Other partnership agreements are negotiated on a case by case basis.

The execution of emerging technology projects is professionally handled, utilising project management toolsets, through our research and development team.
