Our Reverse Roll Coater is a high-precision resin application system engineered for the aerospace and high-performance composites markets.

Designed to achieve exceptionally low and repeatable coat weights — as little as 5 gsm (grams per square metre) — this machine ensures uniform resin distribution across even the most sensitive substrates, delivering flawless surface quality and consistent performance.

Each system is built around precision-ground coating rolls, available in ceramic or chrome-plated finishes, with integrated resin mixing, metering, and delivery systems for complete process control.

For flexible manufacturing, the platform can operate in forward or reverse roll configurations, giving users the ability to fine-tune coating performance to suit their specific resin system, substrate type, and production rate.

The Powder Scatter system from Cygnet Texkimp is designed for the uniform application and fusion of thermoplastic powders onto fabric substrates, typically glass or carbon fibre.

The powder is evenly distributed across the substrate before being heated and fused to form a consistent bonding layer. The slot die and resin feed system are engineered for high accuracy, allowing a wide range of substrates — from papers, foils, and polymer films to unidirectional carbon and glass fibres — to be coated with exceptional consistency.
