This month, we’re celebrating some brilliant success stories from a group of hard-working employees who have achieved major professional goals.

Three of our mechanical engineers have been awarded NVQ Level 3 Certificates in electrical engineering maintenance. Team Leader Julian Cooke and installation engineers Harry Whitehouse and Carl Dennis all specialise in mechanical engineering and have spent the last 12 months expanding their electrical engineering knowledge. Having these three multi-skilled engineers in our installation team is a huge advantage for us and for our customers as they travel the world installing and servicing our machines.

Project Accountant Adam Billingsley has completed the second year of the three-year CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accounts) Professional Qualification and now begins his final year of study to become a full member of CIMA. Any chartered financial qualification is difficult to achieve and Adam has worked extremely hard on top of an already busy workload. His studies have made him a more analytical, confident and knowledgeable accountant, which makes our finance team stronger.

And finally, Tristan Jackson has passed his three-year Level 3 Apprenticeship and BTEC in mechanical engineering with flying colours. Tristan came to work with us two years ago after spending the first year of his apprenticeship studies with TTE Training. Since then, he’s become a real asset to our team and we’re delighted by how well he’s done. He will now go on to study for an HNC in mechanical engineering. Working with TTE is also proving to be an excellent way of bringing high-quality apprentices into our business and we look forward to continuing this partnership.

“Our people are our greatest asset and we want everyone at Cygnet Texkimp to be fulfilled and rewarded in their careers,” says Stuart Parker, Head of Operations at Cygnet Texkimp.

“To help make this happen, we strive to give every member of our team the opportunity to develop their knowledge through onsite and external training and mentoring programmes and cross-department work experience. The rewards for each individual and for our company as a whole are phenomenal.”
